OUR HEARTS ARE HEAVY TODAY

Today Bill and I will be attending the Memorial Service for James R. Graves Sr. Mr Graves was the owner of the company that Bill works for. The company that I use to work for where Bill and I met and fell in love. He was a great man! He was possible the smartest person I have ever known. He was also very fun loving and generous. You can read this article about Mr. Graves to give you a little more prospective on his life and his accomplishments. Please take a few minuets today and say a prayer for his family. Pray that they find the peace that I know that he would want them to have.

ANOTHER SLEEPOVER 2 X'S THE FUN

We let Emily have another sleepover this past Friday night. We invited her 2 friends Jenna & Kristen. Emily has known them since she was born. They have gone to Emily's meme's day care since they were about 6 weeks old. Since it was the last week before school (J&K are starting First Grade)and Emily will not get to see them as much we decided why not. The girls had a blast! They played everything you can imagine. For dessert we decorated some cupcakes. The girls had fun putting every kind of sprinkles on them. Then they took a quick bath and got ready to watch the Cheetah Girls new movie. Not sure how much they really watch but they said they liked it. They all had so much fun and can't wait to do it again!

WATCHING THE OLYMPICS ONLINE

For those of you that don't know Bill is a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do. He has been out of practice for a while but still loves the sport. The other night he and the girls watched the live Olympic coverage online ( it is not televised). I am not sure how much Bill really got to watch Emily was asking him a million questions. Know she says she wants to do Tae-Kwon-Do (OH LORDY !) Bill is really excited about that. I didn't really think i cared much about the Olympics but I catch myself watching I most nights. We have enjoyed the gymnastics, swimming, diving, beach volleyball, and of course the Tae-Kwon-Do!

8 MONTHS ALREADY

This is Abby's fuzzy hair if daddy
forgets to brush it after bath :-)

Abby hit the 8 month mark yesterday! Time really does fly when you are having fun. Our sweet little Abby is now our very active little Abby. She is on the move. No she is not crawling yet ( she as a lot baby belly to get off the ground) she is scooting and rolling where she need to go. She is a girl with an agenda. When she see something she wants she is going to get to it. Our little girl that had just two teeth for what seemed like forever now has seven. Yes she got five new teeth in one month ( that sure was fun)! Watch out she will bite you if she gets the chance. Just ask her Meme! Abby is still an awesome sleeper. She is still sleeping from about 8:30 to 8:30. She has become a tummy sleeper just like her big sister. She is no longer much of a snuggler unless she is sleepy. That about sums it up. We can wait to see that this next month has in store for us.

JUST SOME FUN IN THE SUN

The girls and I spent some time in the pool yesterday afternoon. We invited cousin Austen and his buddy Brandon to join us. Emily spends most of her time in the pool playing mermaid or life guard. To our surprise today she wanted to play cheerleader. Austen is always so sweet to her. He pretty much does what she tells him and usually with a smile on his face. He is always such a big help with the girls. We love you Austy (as Emily calls him)

WOOOOO WHOOOOOOO !!

Austen & Brandon don't they make cute cheerleaders!

WHAT HAVE WE STARTED ?

Emily has been asking for a while to have a friend spend the night. So this week I decided to be brave and go for it. Emily wanted to invite her friend Emma. The girls have gone to day care at meme's school for a few years now. I thought it was a really good ideal since Emma is starting kindergarten in a few weeks and they will not be seeing each other everyday anymore. The girls have always played really well together. We went to grab some dinner at Chick-fil-A and played there for a few. When we got home it was a whirlwind of playing outside, bath, talent show, tent building, fun. Then they picked a movie and were out about 15 mins into it. They both had so much fun and we will do it again soon. Emma is a super sweet girl. Emily is already planning lots more sleepovers with anyone she can think of. What have we started?
